Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs credit due diligence upon receipt of credit application.
Inputs information into company scoring system.
Interprets results to arrive at a credit decision on the applicant.
Inputs approved applicants into receivable system.
Responsible for accurate and timely association with customer hierarchical relationships within our system as directed by Sales / Marketing or Management
Exercise proper judgment for decisioning of potential new and existing accounts that do not meet the guidelines and require additional more complex review.
Approval of higher-level accounts that do not meet the established guidelines from less senior analyst but for other business reason may be a reasonable risk to accept and documented.
Partners with Sales and Operations personnel in a collaborative manner to ensure customers receive quick resolution related to the credit decisions for opening customer accounts
Contributes to moderately complex aspects of decisioning
Must maintain confidentiality of all corporate and member activities.
Have a general understanding to the operations of the entire credit department.
Other reporting and duties critical to the operations of the New Accounts function.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Ability to work independently.
Must have 5 – 8 years of Related Credit decisioning Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
Must have a high level of organizational skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks and online processes.
Good internal and external customer skills (both verbal and written).
Technically proficient with Microsoft Office.
Skilled at interpreting data contained in credit reports.
Must be able to be flexible with start and stop times depending on Department needs.
Must be fluent in English.
