Job Description Summary:
Swinerton Management & Consulting (SMC) is the professional services division within Swinerton, providing program, project and construction management services and strategic consulting to owners and clients.
SMC is recruiting for a Sr. Project Engineer, who has demonstrated the ability to support projects during the construction phase. Responsibilities include managing assigned tasks such as processing RFI’s, COR’s, submittals, documenting OAC meetings, facilitating and scheduling meetings and inspections,
The successful candidate is required to have a degree in civil engineering, architecture, construction management or equivalent. Communication skills are critical to the success in this position, both written and verbal, and often requires the conveyance of highly technical issues into less technical language so that decision-makers are able to make informed decisions . The selected professional will work under the direction of a Sr. Project Manager. Additional technical skills preferred include MSOffice, Bluebeam, and Procore. Other successful attributes are self-starting, initiative, ability to multi-task, organization, and personal drive, all with a calm and consistent demeanor.
