YOU
As a Purchasing Coordinator you will be responsible for processing subcontracting needs, purchasing office and MRO items, as well as managing service vendors.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of time)
Manages the day-to-day procurement of sub-contracting, Maintenance Requisition and Office requests. (40%)
Manages the day-to-day needs for routine services. Proactively examine the status of provided services and engage in discussions to ensure proper fulfillment of said services. (30%)
Monitor Supplier Performance and take actions where required. (10%)
Validate and manage material certification database. (10%)
Facilitate disputes between the Supplier and the organization. (5%)
Others duties as assigned. (5%)
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
If you can do everything listed above, you’ve got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:
High school diploma or GED required.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
1 or more years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and training

Prioritization: Ability to organize and prioritize tasks, work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment, and ensure timely completion of responsibilities.
Technical: Working knowledge of Excel, pivot tables, v lookups, queries, and MS Office.
Communication: Able to communicate one-on-one and in small group settings.
Measurements: Able to read a tape measure to 1/32” tolerance, to use combination squares to measure angles to +/- 1 degree and ability to use and read a micrometer.

This job operates in a professional office environment where standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers/scanners, etc. are frequently used.
TRAVEL REQUIRED
This job requires 5% domestic travel.
WORK STATUS & LOCATION
This full-time, non-exempt position is located in Riverside, CA.
RELOCATION
Relocation is not available for this position.
Pay
$26.01 – $41.63 / Hour
