Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Thoroughly familiarize yourself with project plans, specifications, addenda, shop drawings, and estimates.
Review and adhere to project budget sheets, ensuring financial goals are met.
Coordinate with the office for the timely delivery of equipment, tools, and materials.
Collaborate closely with the Painting Production team for seamless coordination.
Calculate unit costs based on material quantity, hours worked, and labor dollars, taking proactive measures to achieve goals.
Regularly review job-cost monitoring and projection reports, taking corrective actions as needed.
Oversee the daily preparation of timecards and ensure timely submission to the office by Friday.
Maintain a daily log of events, submitting copies of log sheets to the main office weekly.
Attend scheduled job meetings to stay informed and contribute effectively.
Coordinate any work order changes with the Project Manager/Estimator and the Painting Production Department, maintaining an accurate daily log of these changes.
Collaborate with the General Contractor to ensure project safety practices align with company standards and OSHA regulations.
Strictly adhere to all safety rules and regulations of the company and comply with OSHA standards.
Coordinate all scaffold placement, erection, and dismantling with the Safety Director.
Attend all foreman’s meetings as scheduled to stay informed and contribute to the team.
Arrive at work on time, consistently, at various locations as required.
Attend and actively participate in all required company training programs.
Conform to all company policies and procedures.
Undertake any other duties as assigned by the management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Demonstrate a willingness to learn company safety policies and stay updated on applicable OSHA standards.
Possess knowledge and ability to supervise the use of tools, materials, and equipment in the application of paint products.
Ability to operate conventional and airless spray equipment, rollers, and brush finishes.
Knowledge of basic mathematics, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Ability to accurately measure materials.
Ability to work on scaffolds, ladders, stilts, and operate boom lifts and motorized platforms.
Proficient in reading plans and specifications (blueprints).
Ability and willingness to work in a team environment with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including active listening and clear expression.
Demonstrate the ability to motivate employees through positive feedback and appropriate rewards.
