Project Managers are a skilled group of individuals that manage projects from quote acceptance through completion of a project. The Project Manager Professional will work hand in hand with sales, operations, customers, and vendors, to actively manage multiple projects. This opportunity requires an individual to be organized, self-motivated, and have excellent communication skills.

Project Manager / Inside Sales Essential Functions/Qualifications/Education:
Collaboration with outside sales, the operations manager, and customers to understand the project
Reads and interprets architectural drawings and specifications.
Creates “take-offs” on doors, frames and hardware.
Taking Sales calls and receiving orders
Prepares material estimates and cost estimates for the product or service
Creating machine sheets and other design specs for frame, door and hardware products where necessary.
Creating submittals and transmitting them to customers
Documenting all aspects of any given project through sales orders, purchase orders, order acknowledgements, submittals, emails and/or other forms of correspondence
Able to solve complex issues that may arise in a timely manner
Work with suppliers and vendors for product information, lead-times, and shipping details
Purchases material for assigned jobs. This includes selection of vendors used, negotiates best price for purchased material. Must understand vendor pricing.
Coordinates with operations for delivery of material to the job site.
Must be current on codes, products and design changes for doors, frames and finish hardware.
Must attend and participate in all required meetings in relation to position and overall company

After receipt of conditional offer of employment, must be able to pass drug screen/physical/background check
Job Requirements
Must have experience with Wood Doors, Hollow Metal Frames and Commercial Door Hardware.
DHI certification a definite plus.
Must be familiar with contract documents.
Experience with large projects.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong reading comprehension.
Must be accurate and show great attention to detail.
Possess strong time management and organizational skills as well as the ability to multi-task.
Computer proficient with Internet, MS Word and Excel (creating formulas and spreadsheets).
Aptitude for learning industry-related computer software.
Preferably Familiar with Specworks, Comsense, Emullion, Protech or similar industry related software
